Troubleshooting Recommendations:

CAUTION: To prevent damage to the ACPC Mother Board connectors, ensure that the jumper wire pins outside diameter (OD) does not exceed 0.025 inch.

  1. Swap GCU 2 with GCU 3 (physically or using the GCU patch cable).
NOTE: Use PMAT to monitor the fault on GCU.

    1. If system checks are good, replace GCU 2 and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  2. Perform wiring checks between GCU 2, ACPC and P201.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair the defective wiring and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
NOTE: Disconnect GCU 2 connector and remove ACPC External AC-to-DC Converter to measure for short/open circuit.

  3. Replace External AC-to-DC Converter.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  4. Replace ACPC.
  5. Do close out.
