Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Swap GCU 2 with GCU 1. Is the fault still present?
- If NO, replace GCU 2 and do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Disconnect VFG 2 connector G2P2 and GCU 2 connector A57P2. Do a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A57P2-10 Ground - If there is continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A57P2-10 G2P2-A G2P2-B Ground - If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Swap the Generator oil pressure switch with another VFG. Is the fault still present?
- If NO, replace defective Generator oil pressure switch and do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace VFG 2.
- Do close out.
