Fault Description:
Variable Frequency Generator (VFG) 4 will not come on-line.
Possible Causes:
- Variable Frequency Generators (VFG) 4 (G4)
- Generator Control Units (GCU) 4 (A59)
- AC Power Center (ACPC) (A54)
- Associated Wiring

A GCU patch cable (GSE REF # 24X-24-02) can be used to swap GCUs 1, 4 and 5 into position 2 or 3 (for troubleshooting only).
The GCU NVMs can only be downloaded at position #2 or #3.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- At the VFG 4, do a check of the output connections at the terminal block as follows:
Connection Color Result T1 White T2 Blue T3 Orange G Green - If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- At the ACPC, do a check of the VFG 4 output connection at the LCTA 4 as follows:
Connection Color Result T10 White T11 Blue T12 Orange - If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace GCU 4.
NOTE: Use PMAT to monitor the fault on GCU. - Do close out.
