CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Fault Description:

The AC Power Center (ACPC) Solid State Power Converter (SSPC) Power Card has detected a failure with the initialization of the AC SSPCs, the control logic circuitry and/or the load.

Possible Causes:

  • AC Power Center (ACPC) Solid State Power Converter (SSPC) 4
  • AC Power Center (ACPC) (A54)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Swap SSPC 4 with SSPC 10. Monitor the R AFT BOOST PUMP.

    1. If system checks are good, replace SSPC 4 and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  2. Remove the SSPC 4 card.
  3. Perform continuity check for open circuits between the connections that follows:

    From To Result
    SSPC 4 P150-25 Ground
    SSPC 4 P150-28 Ground
    SSPC 4 P150-31 Ground
    SSPC 4 P150-25 SSPC 4 P150-28
    SSPC 4 P150-25 SSPC 4 P150-31
    SSPC 4 P150-28 SSPC 4 P150-31

    1. If there is no continuity, replace SSPC card 4 and do close out.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with next step.

  4. Replace the ACPC.
  5. Do close out.
