Fault Description:
The AC Power Center (ACPC) Solid-State Power Controller (SSPC) power card has detected a failure with the initialization of the AC SSPCs, the control logic circuitry and/or the load.
Possible Causes:
- AC Power Center (ACPC) Solid-State Power Controller (SSPC) 12
- Right Taxi Light (DS30)
- Right Wing Landing Light (DS30)
- Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Fan Converter (B65)
- AC Power Center (ACPC) (A54)
- Associated Wiring

- If the RIGHT TAXI LIGHT or the RIGHT WING LANDING LIGHT is inoperative without CAIMS message and breakers is IN, check wires between EMS CDUs and external lighting control panel
- If the breaker is always tripping without CAIMS message, check for a short circuit between the RIGHT TAXI LIGHT, RIGHT WING LANDING LIGHT, SATCOM FAN converter and the SSPC #12

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Swap SSPC 12 with SSPC 10 and monitor the R AFT BOOST PUMP.
- If system checks are good, replace SSPC 12 card and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Disconnect the R WING LANDING/TAXI LIGHT assembly connector DS30P1, SATCOM HPA Fan Converter connector B65P1 and remove the SSPC 12 card. Perform continuity check between the connections that follows:
From To Result SSPC 12 P440-25 DS30P1-A SSPC 12 P440-28 DS30P1-C SSPC 12 P440-31 B65P1-A - If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform continuity check for open circuits between the connections that follows:
From To Result SSPC 12 P440-25 Ground SSPC 12 P440-28 Ground SSPC 12 P440-31 Ground SSPC 12 P440-25 SSPC 12 P440-28 SSPC 12 P440-25 SSPC 12 P440-31 SSPC 12 P440-28 SSPC 12 P440-31 - If there is no continuity, replace the R WING LANDING/TAXI LIGHT assembly or the SATCOM Fan Converter assembly as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Disconnect connector A54P1 and repeat step 3.
- If there is no continuity, repair aircraft wiring interface as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Replace ACPC.
- Do close out.
