Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Swap DCPQM 2 with DCPQM 1. (select DC synoptic page to monitor AV battery temperature)

    1. If system checks are good, replace DCPQM 2 and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  2. Remove the DCPQM 2 and disconnect avionic battery connector A182P1. Perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    A182P1-M Ground
    A182P1-a Ground

    1. If there is continuity, go to step 4.
    2. If there is no continuity, continue with next step.

  3. Replace avionic battery.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  4. Disconnect DCPC connector A63P2. Perform continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    A63P2-R Ground
    A63P2-g Ground

    1. If there is no continuity, go to step 6.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with next step.

  5. Perform continuity check between avionics battery and DCPC as follows:

    From To Result
    A182P1-M A63P2-R
    A182P1-a A63P2-g

    1. If there is continuity, continue with next step.
    2. If there is no continuity, repair the defective wiring as required and do close out.

  6. Replace the DCPC.
  7. Do close out.
