Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Get access to the Signboard menu and compare DCPC IN and ACPC IN labels that follow: (Only bits in gray need to be look at)
    For DCPC IN label 025
    For ACPC IN label 046

    1. If bits EPC and EPM are the same between two labels, go to step 12.
    2. If bits EPC and EPM are different between two labels, continue with next step.

  2. Get access to the APU Battery and disconnect connector A89P2.
  3. Get access to the ASCA and disconnect connector A48P2.
  4. Perform continuity checks between ASCA and ground as follow:

    From To Result
    A48P2-c Ground

    1. If there is continuity, go to step 12.
    2. If there is no continuity, continue with next step.

  5. Remove the DCPC BAT RAT I/F card.
  6. Perform a wiring checks as follow:

    From To Result
    A48P2-c P410C-13
    A48P2-b P410C-11

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  7. Perform continuity checks between ASCA and ground as follow:

    From To Result
    A48P2-c Ground
    A48P2-b Ground

    1. If there is continuity, go to step 9.
    2. If there is no continuity, continue with next step.

  8. Replace DCPC BAT RAT I/F Card.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  9. Disconnect DCPC connector A63P1.
  10. Perform continuity checks as follow:

    From To Result
    P410C-11 Ground
    P410C-13 Ground

    1. If there is no continuity, go to step 12.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with next step.

  11. Replace DCPC.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  12. Replace ASCA.
  13. Do close out.
