Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Remove the BATT Feeder Card, Battery/RAT I/F Card and the Right Microprocessor from the DCPC.
  2. Disconnect connector P407 of EM 4.
  3. Perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    J407-15 J407-16

    1. If there is no continuity, go to step 9.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with next step.

  4. Perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    P407-16 Ground
    P407-17 Ground

    1. If there is continuity, go to step 10.
    2. If there is no continuity, continue with next step.

  5. Perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    P407-16 P431A-9
    P407-17 P3C-50
    P407-17 P410C-50

    1. If there is no continuity, go to step 10.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with next step.

  6. Swap the BATT Feeder card with DC 1 Feeder Card. Does the fault transfer over to EM 1?

    1. If YES, replace BATT Feeder card and do close out.
    2. If NO, continue with next step.

  7. Swap the Right Microprocessor with the Left Microprocessor. Is the fault resolved?

    1. If YES, replace Right Microprocessor and do close out.
    2. If NO, continue with next step.

  8. Replace BATT/RAT I/F card. Is the fault resolved?

    1. If YES, do close out.
    2. If NO, continue with next step.

  9. Replace EM 4.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  10. Replace DCPC.
  11. Do close out.
