Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Fault Description:

When one or more of the following occurs:

  • Data read by the Stall Protection Computer (SPC) Channel A is not the same as data sent from the air data computers
  • OR,
  • The data read from the air data computers and the Mach Transducer do not agree with Stall Protection Computer Channel A

Possible Causes:

  • Micro Air Data Computer 1 (ADC) (A27)
  • Micro Air Data Computer 2 (ADC) (A28)
  • Micro Air Data Computer 3 (ADC) (A29)
  • Mach Transducer (MT80)
  • Stall Protection Computer (SPC) (A40)

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Check if there are any ADC related CAS messages posted.

    1. If there are any ADC related CAS messages posted, troubleshoot them.
    2. If there are no ADC related CAS messages posted, continue with next step.

  2. Replace Mach Transducer.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  3. Perform wiring checks between Mach Transducer, MADCs and SPC.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  4. Replace Stall Protection Computer (SPC).
  5. Do close out.
