Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. On CAIMS PMAT, check active faults for BMC 1 and BMC 2. Troubleshoot them first.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  2. On CAIMS PMAT, get access to System Diagnostics, ATA 27-00, SPC A, LRU TEST, Discrete inputs for the ice detector status input the SPC A. Troubleshoot ice detector faults first if there is any.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  3. Perform wiring checks between BMCs, ice detectors and SPC.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
