Fault Description:
Stall Protection Computer in Advanced Mode due to Flaps System failure.
Possible Causes:
- Slat/Flap Control Unit (SFCU) 1 (A124)
- Slat/Flap Control Unit (SFCU) 2 (A95)
- Stall Protection Computer (SPC) (A40)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Verify 'STALL WARN ADVANCE' (amber or cyan) EICAS message posted on power-up.
- On CAIMS PMAT, check for active faults of SFCU 1 and SFCU 2.
- If there is fault reported, go to step 4.
- If there is no fault reported, continue with next step.
- Perform electronic rigging of SFCS.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Troubleshoot and clear flap system fault.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring checks between SFCUs and SPC.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace Stall Protection Computer (SPC).
- Do close out.
