Fault Description:
There is erroneous readings from the Rudder Travel Limiter (RTL) Position Transducer 1.
Possible Causes:
- Flight Control Unit (FCU) 1 (A65)
- Rudder Travel Limiter Position Transducer 1 (MT130)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Swap FCU 1 with FCU 2. Is the fault still present?
NOTE: Prior to swapping FCUs, clear both FCU latched faults. Make sure that the FCUs have gone through the complete Built-In Test with all hydraulics systems pressurized and wait 30 seconds after the 'SPLRS STAB IN TEST' CAS message is cleared.- If NO, replace FCU 1 and do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Perform a wiring check between FCU 1 (A65BP1)/(A65EP1) and RTL position transducer 1 (MT130P1).
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace RTL position transducer 1.
- Do close out.
