Fault Description:
There is a problem with the pilot’s Roll Control Input Module (RCIM).
Possible Causes:
- Roll Control Input Module (RCIM) (MT133)
- Flight-Control Units (FCU) 2 (A66)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Remove the FCU 2 to get access to the electrical connectors A66EP1 and A66BP1 and disconnect the pilot RCIM electrical connector MT133P1. Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A66BP1-6C MT133P1-7 A66BP1-5C MT133P1-13 A66BP1-5D MT133P1-8 A66EP1-12B MT133P1-10 A66EP1-12A MT133P1-9 - If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A66BP1-6C Ground A66BP1-5C Ground A66BP1-5D Ground A66EP1-12B Ground A66EP1-12A Ground - If there is continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no continuity, continue with next step.
- Swap FCU 2 with FCU 1. Is the fault still present?
- If NO, replace FCU 2 and do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace the RCIM.
- Do close out.
