Fault Description:
There is a problem with the Stab Trim Push Button.
Possible Causes:
- Stab Trim Channel (CH) 2 Switch (SDS2)
- AIL/RUD/STAB Trims Control Panel (AP20)
- Flight Control Unit (FCU) 2 (A66)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Remove the FCU 2 to get access to electrical connector A66AP1 and disconnect the connector AP20P2 from the stab trim pushbutton 2. Perform a continuity check to ground between the pins of the connectors that follows:
From To Result A66AP1-7A AP20P2-E - If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A66AP1-7A Ground - If there is continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no continuity, continue with next step.
- Replace the Stab Trim CH 2 switch or control panel. Is the fault still present?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, do close out.
- Replace FCU 2.
- Do close Out.
