Fault Description:
Heater/Brake-Temperature Monitoring Unit (HMBU) 1 does not received Label 030 (Left Engine Running message) from Electronic Engine Controller (EEC) 1 or Labels is invalid.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Look at the CAIMS stored and active faults. Make sure there is no fault present for DAU 1(2), MADC 1-2-3.
- Using the Bus Reader, read WSP 5 and WSP 8 from MADCs. Make sure the WSPs are present and valid.
- Swap DAU 1 with DAU 3 or DAU 2 with DAU 4.
- If system checks are good, replace DAU 1 or DAU 2 and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring checks of ARINC between DAU 1, JB3 and HBMU 1.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring checks of ARINC between DAU 2, JB4 and HBMU 2.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace HBMU 1.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace HBMU 2.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace JB3.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace JB4.
- Do close out.
