Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Remove all connectors from the left WTC. Inspect connectors and pins for damage/defects.
- If no defects or damage is found, reconnect the WTC connectors and continue with next step.
- If defects or damage is found, repair/rectify as required.
- Perform wiring checks between Left Windshield Temperature Sensor (HR9 S1) and L WTC (A164P1). Repair as required.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Measure the temperature sensor resistance (refer to Windshield and Side Window Temperature Sensor Resistance Chart).
- If resistance within range, go to step 5.
- If resistance out of range, continue with the next step.
- Connect spare temperature sensor on left windshield (HR9/ S2 or S3).
- If system checks good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Interchange WTCs.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace Windshield.
- Do close out.
