Fault Description:
The Left Left Windshield Temperature Controller (WTC) does not receive the ARINC 429 data from Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 1.
Possible Causes:
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 1 (A17)
- Left Windshield Temperature Controller (WTC) (A164)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Perform wiring checks between DAU 1 and the left WTC.
- If wiring defects are found, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If no defects are found, continue with next step.
- Swap DAU 1 with DAU 2. Is the fault still present?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, replace defective DAU and do close out.
- Swap the left WTC with the right WTC to confirm faulty unit and do close out.
- Do close out.
