Fault Description:
The Left Windshield Heat Switch is selected off and the temperature regulation channels of the Left Windshield Temperature Controller (WTC) is detected inoperative.
Possible Causes:
- Left Windshield Temperature Controller (WTC) (A164)
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 1 (A17)
- Windshield Temperature Control Panel (AP10)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Perform wiring checks between L Windshield Heat Switch, DAU1 and L WTC.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Swap DAU 1 with DAU 2.
- If system checks are good, replace DAU 1 and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Swap L WTCs.
- If system checks are good, replace L WTC and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace WINDSHIELD HEAT Control Panel.
- Do close out.
