Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Remove all connectors from the right WTC. Inspect connectors and pins for damage/defects.
- If no defects or damage is found, reconnect the WTC connectors and continue with next step.
- If defects or damage is found, repair/rectify as required.
- Perform wiring checks between Right Windshield temperature sensor and R WTC.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Measure the temperature sensor resistance (refer to Windshield and Side Window Temperature Sensor Resistance Chart).
- If resistance is within range, go to step 5.
- If resistance is out of range, continue with next step.
- Connect spare temperature sensor on right windshield (HR7 S2 or S3).
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Interchange the right WTC with the left WTC to confirm faulty unit
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace Right Windshield.
- Do close out.
