Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Using PMAT, access CAIMS active faults. Are there any active or stored faults related to the Data Aquisition System displayed?

    1. If YES, perform troubleshooting for the corresponding troubleshooting in SmartFix Plus.
    2. If NO, continue with next step.

  2. Remove DAU 1 to get access to the connector A17AP1 and disconnect A253P1 from CTRL WHL FTU PILOT. Perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    A17AP1-D11 A253P1-4
    A17AP1-E11 A253P1-5
    A17AP1-SH (shield) A253P1-SH (shield)

    1. If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with next step.

  3. Perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    A17AP1-D11 Ground
    A17AP1-E11 Ground
    A17AP1-SH (shield) Ground

    1. If there is continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is no continuity, continue with next step.

  4. Replace DAU 1.
  5. Do close out.
