Fault Description:
The Hydraulic Quantity Transmitter does not operate because of an incorrect excitation voltage.
NOTE: The Hydraulic Quantity Transmitter is installed in and is a part of the Hydraulic System Reservoir. The Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) supplies the excitation voltage.
Possible Causes:
- Hydraulic System 1 Reservoir Quantity Transducer (MT139)
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 1 (A17)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Remove the DAU 1 to get access to connector A17BP1. Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result MT139P1-D A17BP1-H3 MT139P1-A A17BP1-G3 MT139P1-B A17BP1-J3 MT139P1-SH A17BP1-SH - If there is no continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A17BP1-H3 Ground A17BP1-G3 Ground A17BP1-J3 Ground A17BP1-SH Ground - If there is continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no continuity, continue with the next step.
- Swap DAU 1 with DAU 3.
- If system checks are good, replace DAU 1 and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace Hydraulic System 1 Reservoir Quantity Transducer.
- Do close out.
