Fault Description:
The Data Acquisition System does not receive ARINC 429 data from the Weather Radar (WXR) Receiver/Transmitter.
Possible Causes:
- Weather Radar (WXR) Receiver/Transmitter (A125)
- Junction Box (JB) 3/PCB 2
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 1 (A17)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Remove DAU 1 and disconnect WX Radar connector A125P1. Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A17CP1-K1 A125P1-49 A17CP1-K2 A125P1-50 A17CP1-Shield A125P1-Shield - If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A17CP1-K1 Ground A17CP1-K2 Ground A17CP1-Shield Ground - If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Swap DAU 1 with DAU 3. Is the fault still present?
- If NO, replace DAU 1 and do close out.
- If YES, continue with the next step.
- Replace the Weather Radar (WXR) Receiver/Transmitter.
- Do close out.
