Fault Description:
The Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 1 senses a fault related to the RH ENG VLV OPEN Lamp Driver.
Possible Causes:
- Lamp Dimmer Power Supply (LDPS) 1 (A145)
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 1 (A17)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Check if the RH ENG VLV OPEN light on the OIL REPLENISHMENT control panel comes on by performing the following steps:
- In the flight compartment, on the OIL REPLENISHMENT control panel, momentarily push the power SYSTEM ON switch/light.
- Check if the switch/lights come on for a three second lamp test.
NOTE: After three seconds, all the lights go out except the SYSTEM ON switch/light. Under certain low oil conditions, the LO OIL switch/light for either engine or the APU may remain on.
- Check if the RH ENG VLV OPEN annunciator light on the control panel comes on.
- If the annunciator light on the control panel does not come on, replace the defective bulbs and do close out.
- If the annunciator light on the control panel comes on, continue with next step.
- Remove the DAU 1 to get access to the connector A17BP1 and the lamp dimmer power supply 1 to get access to the connector A145P1. Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A17BP1-A4 A145P1-C - If there is no continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A17BP1-A4 Ground - If there is continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no continuity, continue with next step.
- Swap DAU 1 with DAU 3. Is the fault still present?
- If NO, replace DAU 1 and do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace the lamp dimmer power supply 1.
- Do close out.
