Fault Description:
The Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 2 senses a malfunction in the Copilot's RH Rudder Pedal Components of the Crew Force-Measurement System.

- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 2 (A18)

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Using PMAT, access CAIMS active faults. Are there any active or stored faults related to the Data Aquisition System displayed?
- If YES, perform troubleshooting for the corresponding troubleshooting in SmartFix Plus and do close out.
- If NO, continue with next step.
- Remove DAU 2 to get access to the connector A18AP1 and disconnect A260P1 from RDR PDL FTU COPILOT R. Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A18AP1-F14 A260P1-4 A18AP1-G14 A260P1-5 A18AP1-SH A260P1-SH - If there is no continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A18AP1-F14 Ground A18AP1-G14 Ground A18AP1-SH Ground - If there is continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no continuity, continue with next step.
- Swap DAU 2 with DAU 4. Is the fault still present?
- If NO, replace DAU 2 and do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace rudder-pedal force-transducer.
- Do close out.
