Fault Description:
The Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 2 senses that the CABIN PRESS RATE analog signal sent by the manual channel of the Cabin Pressure Controller (CPC) 2 is out of range.
Possible Causes:
- Cabin Pressure Controller (CPC) 2 (A22)
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 2 (A18)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Disconnect the connector A22P2 from CPC 2 and remove the DAU 2 to get access to connector A18BP1. Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A22P2-7 A18BP1-G13 A22P2-8 A18BP1-H13 A22P2-Shield A18BP1-Shield - If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A22P2-7 Ground A22P2-8 Ground - If there is continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no continuity, continue with next step.
- Swap CPC 2 with CPC 1. Is the fault still present?
- If NO, replace CPC 2 and do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace DAU 2.
- Do close out.
