Fault Description:
The Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 2 senses that the OFV POSITION analog signal from the manual Channel of the Outflow Valve 2 is out of range.
Possible Causes:
- AFT Outflow Valve 2 (L9)
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 2 (A18)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Disconnect the connector L9P2 from outflow valve 2 and remove the DAU 2 to get access to connector A18AP1. Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result L9P2-3 A18AP1-E14 L9P2-4 A18AP1-D14 L9P2-5 A18AP1-C14 L9P2-Shield A18AP1-Shield - If there is no continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result L9P2-3 Ground L9P2-4 Ground L9P2-5 Ground - If there is continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no continuity, continue with next step.
- Replace outflow valve 2. Is the fault still present?
- If NO, do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace DAU 2.
- Do close out.
