Fault Description:
The Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 2 senses a fault related to the R WING FEED INHIBIT/PRI PUMP OFF Lamp Driver for the FUEL Panel.
Possible Causes:
- Lamp Dimmer Power Supply (LDPS) 3 (A147)
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 2 (A18)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Check if the R WING FEED INHIBIT/PRI PUMP OFF light on the FUEL panel comes on by performing the following steps:
- In the flight compartment, on the COCKPIT LIGHTS (INTEGRAL) control panel, set the PBA switch to BRT.
- In the flight compartment, on the EMS CDU, momentarily push the SYSTEM TEST pushbutton. Check if the SYSTEM TEST menu shows on the display.
- Set the left Line Select Key (LSK) to LAMP TEST 1. Check if the LAMP TEST 1 OFF is highlighted.
- Set the right LSK to LAMP TEST 1. Check if the OFF changes to TEST.
- Check if the R WING FEED INHIBIT/PRI PUMP OFF annunciator light on the control panel comes on.
- If the annunciator light on the control panel does not come on, replace the defective bulbs and do close out.
- If the annunciator light on the control panel comes on, continue with next step.
- Remove the DAU 2 to get access to the connector A18BP1 and the lamp dimmer power supply 3 to get access to the connector A147P1. Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A18BP1-K12 A147P1-C - If there is no continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A18BP1-K12 Ground - If there is continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no continuity, continue with next step.
- Swap DAU 2 with DAU 4. Is the fault still present?
- If NO, replace DAU 2 and do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace the lamp dimmer power supply 3.
- Do close out.
