Fault Description:
The Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 2 senses a fault in the System that supplies its power.
Possible Causes:
- Secondary-Power Distribution Assembly (SPDA) 1 (A13)
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 2 (A18)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- On the EMS CDU, make sure that DAU CH 2B is set to "IN".
- If the circuit breaker is not set to "IN", investigate the reason and if possible, set it to "IN" and do close out.
- If the circuit breaker is set to "IN", continue with next step.
- Remove the DAU 2 and perform a 28 VDC voltage check on DAU 2 connector as follows:
DAU 2 Expected Result Result A18BP1-A14 28 VDC - If there is no 28 VDC, go to step 4.
- If there is 28 VDC, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A18BP1-A15 Ground A18BP1-K15 Ground - If there is continuity, go to step 6.
- If there is no continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A18BP1-A14 A13P3-J A18BP1-A15 Ground A18BP1-K15 Ground - If there is no continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with the next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A18BP1-A14 Ground - If there is continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no continuity, investigate the SPDA power source and do close out.
- Replace DAU 2.
- Do close out.
