Fault Description:
The Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 3 senses a fault related to the FMS 1/3 A429 relay.
Possible Causes:
- FMS 1/3 A429 Relay 1 (K33)
- Secondary-Power Distribution Assembly (SPDA) 1 (A13)
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 3 (A30)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Replace the FMS 1/3 A429 relay 1. Is the fault still present?
- If NO, do close out.
- If YES, continue with the next step.
- Remove the DAU 3 and disconnect the electrical connector A13P2 from SPDA 1. Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A30AP1-A7 A13P2-e - If there is no continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A30AP1-A7 Ground - If there is continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no continuity, continue with next step.
- Swap the DAU 3 with DAU 1. Is the fault still present?
- If NO, replace DAU 3 and do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace the SPDA 1.
- Do close out.
