Fault Description:
The Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 4 senses a malfunction in the High-G Accelerometer components of the Crew Force-Measurement System.
Possible Causes:
- High-G Accelerometer (MT11)
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 4 (A31)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Using PMAT, access CAIMS active faults. Are there any active or stored faults related to the Data Aquisition System displayed?
- If YES, perform troubleshooting for the corresponding troubleshooting in SmartFix Plus and do close out.
- If NO, continue with next step.
- Remove DAU 4 to get access to the connector A31AP1 and disconnect MT11P1 from FDR ACCELEROMETER. Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A31AP1-D11 MT11P1-C A31AP1-E11 MT11P1-D A31AP1-SH MT11P1-SH - If there is no continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A31AP1-D11 Ground A31AP1-E11 Ground A31AP1-SH Ground - If there is continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no continuity, continue with next step.
- Swap DAU 4 with DAU 2. Is the fault still present?
- If NO, replace DAU 4 and do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace high-G accelerometer.
- Do close out.
