Fault Description:
The Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 4 reports that the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) on label 270 is transmitted from the Slat/Flap Control Unit (SFCU) 2 with incorrect Source Destination Identifier (SDI) or invalid Sign Status Matrix (SSM).

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Remove DAU 4 to get access to the connector A31CP1 and SFCU 2 to get access to the connector A95AP1. Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A31CP1-H8 A95AP1-66 A31CP1-J8 A95AP1-79 - If there is no continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A31CP1-H8 Ground A31CP1-J8 Ground - If there is continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no continuity, continue with next step.
- Swap DAU 4 with DAU 2.
- If system checks are good, replace DAU 4 and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace the SFCU 2.
- Do close out.
