These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Fault Description:

There is a problem with the Left Main Gear Door Uplock Sensor and related wiring.

Possible Causes:

  • Left Main Gear Door-Uplock Sensor (MT25)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Access the Main Landing Gear (MLG) door assembly. Check if there is damage to the MLG door-uplock proximity sensor and wiring.

    1. If there is damage to the sensor or wiring, go to step 8.
    2. If there is no damage, continue with the next step.

  2. Check if there is damage in the LH main-gear door-uplock sensor target.

    1. If there is damage, replace the LH MLG door-uplock sensor target and do close out.
    2. If there is no damage, continue with the next step.

  3. Perform the Rigging of the Main-Gear Inboard Doors. Is the fault still present?"

    1. If NO, do close out.
    2. If YES, continue with next step.

  4. Perform the Adjustment of the Main-Gear Door-Open Proximity-Sensors. Is the fault still present?

    1. If NO, do close out.
    2. If YES, continue with next step.

  5. Access and disconnect the L MLG pressure bulkhead connector (P431). Perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    P431-C P431-D

    1. If there is no continuity, go to step 8.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with next step.

  6. Perform a continuity check as follow:

    From To Result
    A52AP1-G10 J311-63
    A52AP1-H10 J311-64
    P311-63 J431-C
    P311-64 J431-D

    1. If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with the next step.

  7. Perform a continuity check as follow:

    From To Result
    A52AP1-G10 Ground
    A52AP1-H10 Ground

    1. If there is continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is no continuity, continue with next step.

  8. Replace Left Main Gear Door Uplock sensor.
  9. Do close out.
