Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Access the LH Main Landing Gear (MLG) door assembly. Check if there is damage to the Left Main Gear Door Open proximity sensor and bracket.

    1. If there is damage to the sensor, replace the Left main gear door open sensor and do close out.
    2. If there is damage to the sensor bracket, replace the sensor bracket and do close out.
    3. If there is no damage, continue with next step.

  2. Check if there is damage in the Left main-gear door-open sensor target.

    1. If there is damage to the sensor target, replace the sensor target and do close out.
    2. If there is no damage, continue with the next step.

  3. Perform the rigging of the main-gear inboard doors.
  4. Perform the adjustment of the main-gear door-open proximity-sensors.
  5. Perform the operational test of the position indication system.

    1. If the operational test is satisfactory, do close out.
    2. If the operational test is not satisfactory, continue with next step.

  6. Perform the troubleshooting for the LH sensor and target again. Repair as required.
  7. Do close out.
