Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Check if there is damage to the sensor and main gear harness.

    1. If there is damage to the sensor or harness, replace the outboard main gear harness and do close out.
    2. If there is no damage, continue with the next step.

  2. Check if there is damage to the outboard WOW sensor target.

    1. If there is damage to the WOW sensor target, replace the outboard WOW sensor target and do close out.
    2. If there is no damage, continue with the next step.

  3. Perform the adjustment of the main-gear weight-on-wheels (WOW) proximity-sensor AMM task 32-61-01-820-806. Is the fault still present?

    1. If NO, do close out.
    2. If YES, continue with next step.

  4. Access and disconnect the outboard WOW sensors. Perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    PW3-A PW3-B

    1. If there is no continuity, replace the outboard main gear harness and continue with next step.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with next step.

  5. Perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    A52AP1-J2 J311-57
    A52AP1-K2 J311-58
    P311-57 JW3-A
    P311-58 JW3-B

    1. If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with the next step.

  6. Perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    A52AP1-J2 Ground
    A52AP1-K2 Ground

    1. If there is continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is no continuity, continue with next step.

  7. Replace the Outboard WOW Sensor and target.
  8. Do close out.
