Fault Description:
Landing Gear Electronic Control Unit (LG ECU) has detected an abnormal condition with the Landing Gear Control Handle Extend Command discrete input coming from the Gear Handle.
Possible Causes:
- Landing Gear Control Handle (S3)
- Landing Gear Electronic Control Unit (LGECU) (A52)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Re-rack LGECU.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring checks of the Extend Command wires between LGECU A52BP1 and Landing Gear Handle including the Gear Handle grounds.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Perform continuity check of the Landing Gear Handle switches. Make sure there is continuity with the grounds when the Handle is selected Down and there is no continuity when the Handle is selected UP.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace Landing gear control handle.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace LGECU.
- Do close out.
