Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Re-rack LGECU.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  2. Measure for resistance of Landing Gear Selector Valve 2 Solenoid B. Resistance must be between 57 and 65 Ohms at 68°F (20°C).

    1. If resistance out of range, go to step 4.
    2. If resistance within range, continue with next step.

  3. Perform wiring checks between LGECU, landing gear selector valve 2 (solenoid B-DOWN command), and landing gear control handle.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  4. Swap Landing Gear Selector Valve 2 with Landing Gear Selector Valve 3.

    1. If system checks are good, replace Landing Gear Selector Valve 2 and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  5. Replace LGECU.
  6. Do close out.
