Message Description:
When one of the conditions that follow:
- The Head-Up-Display (HUD) Combiner Unit is in an incorrect position
- The Head-Up-Display (HUD) System senses an incorrect position
Possible Causes:
- Head-Up Display (HUD) Electro Optical Projector Unit (OPU) (A251)
- Head-Up Display (HUD) Combiner Unit (COU) (MT216)

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Clean the Head−Up−Display (HUD) Combiner Unit using the AMM Task 34−32−09−160−801
- Make sure the deployed validation signal from the OPU to the mirror is not covered.
- Make sure there is no headliner material between the mating plates/bonding points of the combiner to the mounting tray.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with the next step.
- Replace HUD combiner unit.
- If system checks are good, do close out.

- Replace HUD Electro-Optical Unit.
- Do close out.
