Message Description:
The Right Inboard Wing Anti-Ice Temperature Sensor (WAITS) has detected a temperature > 135 °C. Inhibited during Take-Off and Landing.
Possible Causes:
- Right Wing Anti-Icing Modulating and Shutoff Valve (MT126)
- Right Inboard Anti-Icing Temperature Sensor (E41)
- Right Outboard Anti-Icing Temperature Sensor (E40)
- Bleed Management Controller (BMC) 2 (A70)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Swap Right WAIV with Left WAIV.
- If system checks are good, replace right WAIV and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Measure the right inboard WAITS resistance. Make sure the sensor is within limits as shown in the table and graph below:

- If right inboard WAITS resistance are not as mentioned above, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring checks between BMC 2 and right inboard WAITS.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace BMC 2.
- Do close out.
