Fault Description:
The Full-Authority Digital Engine-Controller (FADEC) stopped the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) or recorded incorrect power inputs because of a FADEC internal fault flag is set at power up (this fault flag shows that power was lost during the last FADEC operation).
Possible Causes:
- Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Full-Authority Digital Engine-Controller (FADEC) (A108)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Check the engine branched wiring-harness for bare wiring, kinks, worn areas and other damage.
- If there is a damage, replace the engine branched wiring-harness and do close out.
- If there is no damage, continue with next step.
- Check the aircraft wiring harness for bare wiring, kinks, worn areas and other damage.
- If there is a damage, replace the defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no damage, continue with next step.
- Use the wiring manual to perform wiring checks between the FADEC and DC power source.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Rerack the APU FADEC making sure it is fully and properly inserted into place. Is the fault still present?
- If NO, do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace the FADEC (A108).
- Do close out.
