Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Check the engine branched wiring-harness for bare wiring, kinks, worn areas and other damage.

    1. If there is a damage, replace the engine branched wiring-harness and do close out.
    2. If there is no damage, continue with next step.

  2. Check the aircraft wiring harness for bare wiring, kinks, worn areas and other damage.

    1. If there is a damage, replace the defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is no damage, continue with next step.

  3. Use the wiring manual to perform wiring checks between the FADEC and Primary DC power source.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  4. Rerack the APU FADEC making sure it is fully and properly inserted into place. Is the fault still present?

    1. If NO, do close out.
    2. If YES, continue with next step.

  5. Replace the FADEC (A108).
  6. Do close out.
