Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Examine the engine branched wiring-harness for bare wiring, kinks, worn areas and other damage (WM 49-12).
- If there is bare wiring, kinks, worn areas or other damage, replace engine branched wiring-harness and do close out.
- If NO, continue with next step.
- Check if the STARTER MOTOR NOT DISENGAGED still shows on the CAIMS PMAT.
- If NO, do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Examine the aircraft wiring harness between the FADEC (A108) and the APU firewall disconnect (STN 1046LHS) (WM 49-61).
- If there is bare wiring, kinks, worn areas or damage, replace or repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If NO, continue with next step.
- Check if the STARTER MOTOR NOT DISENGAGED still shows on the CAIMS PMAT.
- If NO, do close out.
