Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Visually inspect the engine branched wiring-harness for bare wiring, kinks, worn areas and other damage.

    1. If harness checks are good, go to step 3.
    2. If there is bare wiring, kinks, worn areas or other damage, continue with next step.

  2. Replace or repair Engine branched wiring-harness. Is the fault still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, do the close out.

  3. Examine Inlet Pressure Sensor receptacle MT1 for contamination and damage.

    1. If Inlet Pressure Sensor receptacle MT1 is contaminated or damaged, rectify/replace the Inlet Pressure Sensor (P2) and do the close out.
    2. If no damage/contamination is found, continue withj next step.

  4. On Inlet Pressure Sensor receptacle MT1, perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Expected Result Result
    MT1P1-A MT1P1-B Between 1000 Ω and 4000 Ω
    MT1P1-C MT1P1-D Between 500 Ω and 2000 Ω
    MT1P1-A Ground Open
    MT1P1-B Ground Open
    MT1P1-C Ground Open
    MT1P1-D Ground Open

    1. If results are correct, continue with next step.
    2. If results are not correct, replace the Inlet Pressure Sensor and do the close out.

  5. Perform wiring checks between P802 (APU) and (MT1P1) inlet pressure sensor (P2)

      From To Result
      P802-19 MT1P1-A (+ PWR)
      P802-20 MT1P1-B (- PWR)
      P802-43 MT1P1-C (+ SIG)
      P802-44 MT1P1-D (- SIG)

    1. If wiring defects are found, repair defective wiring as required and do the close out.
    2. If no defects are found, continue with next step.

  6. Perform wiring checks between J802 (AC wiring harness) and A108AP1 (APU FADEC).

      From To Result
      J802-19 A108AP1-D3 (+ PWR)
      J802-20 A108AP1-E3 (- PWR)
      J802-43 A108AP1-A3 (+ SIG)
      J802-44 A108AP1-B3 (- SIG)

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair associated wiring and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  7. Replace the APU FADEC.
  8. Do the close out.
