Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Inspect the APU FADEC harness and APU FADEC mounting tray connector for contamination or damage.
- Repair as required. If the fault message is gone from OMS, do close out.
- If fault message remains active, continue with next step.
- Do wiring checks on (A2) Ignition Exciter. The step 2 checks are intended to check the box, not the harness.
From To Expected Results Results A2-A A2 Shell Open > 1Ω A2-B A2 Shell Open > 1Ω A2-C A2 Shell Open > 1Ω A2-D A2 Shell Open > 1Ω 
- Are checks satisfactory?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, replace the (A2) Ignition Exciter.
- Do wiring checks on Ignition Exciter harness.
From To Expected Results Results A2P1-A P802-2 Continuity A2P1-B P802-29 Continuity A2P1-C P802-3 Continuity A2P1-D P802-31 Continuity - Are checks satisfactory?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, repair as required.
- Perform wiring checks between APU Connector (J802) (AC wiring harness) on Firewall and APU FADEC connectors.
From To Expected Results Results J802-31 A108AP1-H3 Continuity J802-3 A108AP1-J5 Continuity J802-29 A108BP1-112 Continuity J802-2 A108BP1-111 Continuity - Are checks satisfactory?
- If NO, repair as required.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace Ignition Exciter Unit.
- If fault is gone from the OMS, do close out.
- If fault on the OMS remains, continue with next step.
- Replace APU FADEC.
- Do close out.
