Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Examine the engine branched wiring-harness for bare wiring, kinks, worn areas and other damage (WM 49-12).
- If there is bare wiring, kinks, worn areas or other damage, replace engine branched wiring-harness and do close out.
- If there is no bare wiring, kinks, worn areas or other damage, continue with next step.
- Examine the fuel solenoid valve (V2) receptacle for contamination and damage.
- If there is contamination or damage, go to step 12.
- If there is no contamination or damage, continue with next step.
- If OPEN CKT - FUEL SOLENOID VALVE/WIRING still shows, perform a continuity check between on the fuel solenoid valve (V2) receptacle (WM 49-12) as follows:
From To Expected Result Result V2-A V2-B 25-37 ohms - If resistance measurement fails, go to step 12.
- If the resistance is within range, continue with next step.
- If OPEN CKT - FUEL SOLENOID VALVE/WIRING still shows, make sure there is no short between each V2-A and V2-B and the connector shell of V2 receptacle (WM 49-12).
- If there is short circuit, go to step 12.
- If there is no short circuit, continue with next step.
- If OPEN CKT - FUEL SOLENOID VALVE/WIRING still shows, perform a wiring check between APU (P1) and fuel solenoid valve (V2P1).
- If wiring checks are not good, replace engine branched wiring-harness and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- If OPEN CKT - FUEL SOLENOID VALVE/WIRING still shows, make sure that V2P1-A and V2P1-B on the engine branched wiring-harness (V2P1) connector (WM 49-12) are not short.
- If wiring checks are not good, replace engine branched wiring-harness and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- If OPEN CKT - FUEL SOLENOID VALVE/WIRING still shows, make sure there is no short between each P1-78 and P1-79 and the connector shell of P1 (WM 49-12).
- If wiring checks are not good, replace engine branched wiring-harness and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- If OPEN CKT - FUEL SOLENOID VALVE/WIRING still shows, perform a wiring check between aircraft wiring harness (J802) and FADEC (A108BP1).
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- If OPEN CKT - FUEL SOLENOID VALVE/WIRING still shows, make sure there is no short between J802-78 and J802-79 of the aircraft wiring harness (J802) connector (WM 49-61).
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- If OPEN CKT - FUEL SOLENOID VALVE/WIRING still shows, make sure there is no short between each J802-78 and J802-79, the connector shell of J802 (WM 49-61).
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Make sure OPEN CKT - FUEL SOLENOID VALVE/WIRING does not show.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace fuel solenoid valve (V2).
- Do close out.
