Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Perform wiring check on Oil Level Sensor receptacle MT2 as follows:

    From To Expected Result Result
    MT2J1-B MT2J1-E 26.2-30.2 Ohms
    MT2J1-H MT2J1-E 26.2-30.2 Ohms
    MT2J1-B Ground Shell >1 M Ohm
    MT2J1-E Ground Shell >1 M Ohm
    MT2J1-H Ground Shell >1 M Ohm
    MT2J1-B MT2J1-H >1 M Ohm

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If resistance is out of range, go to step 5.
    3. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  2. Perform wiring check between APU FADEC (A108BP1) connector and the Oil Level Sensor (MT2P1) connector.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  3. Perform wiring check between APU (P1) connector and Oil Level Sensor connector (MT2P1). Continuity between the ground shell and pins should be greater than 1 M Ohm.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  4. Perform wiring check between aircraft wiring harness (J802) and FADEC (A108BP1) connectors. Continuity between ground shell and pins should be greater than 1 M Ohm.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  5. Replace Oil Level Sensor.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  6. Replace APU FADEC.
  7. Do close out.
