Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Examine the Time Totalizing Meter (M1) receptacle for contamination and damage.

    1. If there is contamination or damage, go to step 5.
    2. If there is no contamination or damage, continue with next step.

  2. Check for insulation resistance between time totalizing meter connector (M1P1) and the shell as follows:

    From To Expected Result Result
    M1P1-C Shell >1 Mohm

    1. If the resistance values are not within range, go to step 5.
    2. If the resistance values are within range, continue with next step.

  3. Connect the hour meter/start counter reader to the time totalizing meter (M1). Push down and hold the push-button on the hour meter/start counter reader.

    1. If there is no data on the EVENTS LED, go to step 5.
    2. If there is data on the EVENTS LED, continue with next step.

  4. Perform wiring checks between FADEC connector (A108AP1) and Time Totalizing Meter connector (M1P1) as follow:

    From To Result
    A108AP1-B1 M1P1-A
    A108AP1-A2 M1P1-B
    A108AP1-A1 M1P1-C

    1. If the wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  5. Replace Time Totalizing Meter.

    1. If system checks out, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  6. Replace FADEC.
  7. Do close out.
