Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Fault Description:

Right Emergency Door Proximity Sensor has been detected failed by the Landing Gear Electronic Control Unit (LG ECU).

Possible Causes:

  • Right Emergency Door Proximity Sensor
  • Landing-Gear Electronic Control-Unit (LG ECU) (A52)
  • Associated Wiring

  1. Look to Proximity sensor’s as the fault.
  2. Look at wiring connections for splice SP699.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Perform wiring checks of the Right Emergency Door Proximity Sensor wires between the LGECU connector A52AP1 and splice SP699. (A52AP1-C10 to SP699 and A52AP1-D10 to SP699).

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  2. Perform and inspection and wiring checks of splice SP699 contacts/pins.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  3. Perform a visual inspection of the wires/harness between Right Emergency Door Proximity Sensor and splice SP699. Repair as required.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  4. Re-seat LGECU.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  5. Replace Right Emergency Door Proximity Sensor.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  6. Replace LGECU.
  7. Do close out.
