Message Description:
There is a possible mechanical failure with the Sensors.
Possible Causes:
- Passenger Door Fwd Claw Closed (MT42)
- Passenger Door Aft Claw Closed (MT43)
- Passenger Door Handle Stowed Proximity Sensor (MT44)
- Landing-Gear Electronic Control-Unit (LG ECU) (A52)

NOTES:
- The logic of the Main Entry Door (Passenger door) FWD G-LOCK HOOK & AFT G-LOCK HOOK sensors on the Channel B of the LGECU is as follow:
- When door is open:
- Both sensors are showing LOCKED and Handle sensor is showing NOT STOWED
- When door is closed:
- Both sensors are showing NOT LOCKED and Handle sensor is showing STOWED
- When door is open:

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Examine the passenger door sensors and targets for damage.
- If there is worn area or damage, repair or replace defective sensor as required and do close out.
- If system checks are good, continue with next step.
- Make sure there is no structural damage in the area of the sensor and the sensor aligns with the related target. Make sure that the clearance between the sensor and the target is 0.035 ±0.005 in.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- On the CAIMS PMAT, perform the steps that follow to run Sensor Test:
- Go to system diagnostics page
- Select ATA 32 - Landing Gear
- Make a selection of the LDG GEAR ELECTRONIC CTRL UNIT (CH B)
- Select LRU TEST - LGECU B Passenger Sensor Data
- Locate the Position Agreement of the Fwd & Aft G-Lock Hook Sensors.
- If the condition is agree, do close out.
- If the condition is disagree, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring check between the LGECU and the Passenger Door FWD G-Lock and proximity sensor (MT42)(SP697)
From To Expected Result Result A52AP1 - C14 SP697 - A1 Continuity A52AP1 - D14 SP697 - B1 Continuity - If the wiring checks are not good, repair the associated wiring and do close out.
- If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring check between the LGECU and the Passenger Door AFT G-Lock Hook Closed and Locked proximity sensor (MT43)(SP698).
From To Expected Result Result A52AP1 - C15 SP698 - A1 Continuity A52AP1 - D15 SP698 - B1 Continuity - If the wiring checks are not good, repair the associated wiring and do close out.
- If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring check between the LGECU and the Passenger Door Handle Stowed proximity sensor (MT44)(SP709).
From To Expected Result Result A52AP1 - C8 SP709 - A1 Continuity A52AP1 - D8 SP709 - B1 Continuity - Do adjustment of the passenger door proximity sensors and targets.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace the passenger door proximity sensors one at a time to isolate faulty sensor.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace LG ECU.
- Do close out.
