Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Perform wiring checks of the Passenger Door Handle Proximity Sensor wires between the LGECU connector A52AP1 and splice SP709.

    From To Expected Result Result
    A52AP1 - C8 SP709 - A1 Continuity
    A52AP1 - D8 SP709 - B1 Continuity

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  2. Perform and inspection and wiring check of splice SP709 contacts/pins.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  3. Perform a visual inspection of the wires/harness between the Passenger Door Handle Proximity Sensor and splice SP709. Repair as required.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  4. Re-seat LGECU.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  5. Replace Passenger Door Handle Proximity Sensor.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  6. Replace LGECU.
  7. Do close out.
