Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Open the engine Cowls.
  2. Measure for 28 VDC at the LH SAV solenoid channel A (P1065).

    1. If there is 28 VDC, go to step 4. (When the SAV is commanded open).
    2. If no 28 VDC, continue with next step.

  3. Perform wiring checks between the SPDA 2 (A14P1) and the EEC 1 (P1045).

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  4. Perform wiring checks between the EEC 1 (P1043) and the LH SAV (P1065).

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  5. Swap the SPDA 2 with the SPDA 3.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.
NOTE: You swap if there is no 28 VDC between the SPDA 2 and the EEC 1.

  6. Swap SAV between engines.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  7. Replace the EEC 1.
  8. Do close out.
